Focal Species
Focal Species
The river is nationally or regionally an important producer of resident and anadromous fish species, and riparian habitat restoration will improve aquatic habitat. Of particular significance is the presence of wild stocks considered to be unique, and populations of federally or state listed (or candidate) threatened, endangered, or sensitive species namely Chinook, Coho, Steelhead, Bull, Rainbow, and Coastal Cutthroat trout, and most likely Pacific Lamprey.
