Degraded Channel and Riparian Areas Degraded Floodplain Connectivity and Function
Improve water quality & habitat, manage downstream flooding, enhance stream & floodplain connection by raising incised channel to better connect to floodplain, create new floodplain area to enhance habitat. Includes riparian & floodplain re-vegetation, placing logs and constructing riffles. Project includes optimizing the performance of the existing structure to reduce downstream flooding.

  • Off-Channel Wetland Area Increase: 2,500.00 sq ft
  • Riparian / Floodplain Native Planting Area: 2.57 acres
