Degraded Channel and Riparian Areas Degraded Riparian Areas and Large Wood Recruitment
The new Tacoma Street Max Orange Line Light Rail station passes over Johnson Creek. During the station construction, large wood was added to Johnson Creek and a high flow channel constructed. An interpretive boardwalk was built over the high flow channel for rail commuters to see Johnson Creek and learn about stream ecology and the habitat project.
